Vanilla Pudding Recipe

INGREDIENTS 

▢⅓ cup granulated sugar ▢3 tablespoons cornstarch ▢2¼ cups 2% milk, or higher ▢2 large egg yolks ▢1 tablespoon salted butter ▢2 teaspoons pure vanilla extrac

STEP-1

In a medium bowl, sift together sugar and cornstarch.

Whisk in cold milk and egg yolks and mix to combine.

Pour this mixture into a medium saucepan over medium heat, stirring constantly until the mixture reaches a boil.

 Continue stirring and let boil for 1 minute.

Remove pan from heat and whisk in butter and vanilla until butter is melted.

Stirring occasionally, let the mixture cool, and serve warm or chilled.
