Cream Butter and Sugar: In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
Add Chocolate Chips: Let the mixture cool slightly, then fold in the mini chocolate chips. If you add them while the mixture is too hot, the chocolate chips will melt.
Form Cookies: Using a tablespoon or a small cookie scoop, drop spoonfuls of the mixture onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat. Flatten each spoonful slightly with the back of the spoon.
