– 4 salmon fillets – 1/4 cup honey – 3 cloves garlic, minced – 2 tbsp soy sauce – 1 tbsp olive oil – Salt and pepper to taste
Prepare the Sauce: In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, minced garlic, soy sauce, and olive oil until well combined.
Season the Salmon: Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels. Season both sides with salt and pepper.
Heat the Pan: Heat a large non-stick skillet over medium-high heat. Add a little olive oil to the skillet to coat the bottom.
Cook the Salmon: Place the salmon fillets in the skillet, skin-side down if they have skin. Cook for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until the salmon is cooked through and has a nice golden-brown crust. Remove the salmon from the skillet and set aside.
Make the Honey Garlic Sauce: In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium and pour the honey garlic sauce into the pan. Stir and cook for 1-2 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken slightly.
Glaze the Salmon: Return the cooked salmon fillets to the skillet, spooning the honey garlic sauce over the top. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, allowing the salmon to be well-coated and the flavors to meld.
