Mexican Hot Chocolate Recipe

INGREDIENTS 

▢1 cup butter softened ▢1 cup brown sugar ▢2 eggs ▢1 teaspoon vanilla extract ▢1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour ▢1 teaspoon baking soda ▢1 teaspoon salt ▢1 teaspoon cinnamon ▢3 cups old fashioned oats ▢1 cup Hershey’s Cinnamon Chips

STEP-1

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. In a large mixing bowl, beat together the butter and brown sugar until smooth and creamy.

Add eggs and vanilla and mix until incorporated.

Add flour, baking soda, salt and cinnamon into the cream mixture and mix until just mixed.

STEP-4

Fold in oats and cinnamon chips and use a medium cookie scoop to scoop onto a lightly greased cookie sheet and flatten slightly. Add cinnamon chips on top, if desired.

Bake for 11-13 minutes or until lightly browned.
