Chocolate Syrup Recipe

INGREDIENTS 

▢1 cup sugar ▢½ cup unsweetened cocoa ▢½ cup cold water ▢1 tablespoon butter ▢2 teaspoons vanilla extract

STEP-1

Whisk together the sugar and cocoa in a medium pot until all lumps are gone.

Add water and butter and turn to medium heat.

STEP-3

Bring to a boil, then reduce heat. Bring to a simmer, stirring constantly for about 1 minute.

Remove from heat and add vanilla once the mixture is cooled.

Stir until combined, place in a glass jar, and refrigerate. Reheat when ready to serve.
