Brioche French Toast

Ingredients: – 4 large egg – 1/4 cup milk – 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream – 1/4 cup all-purpose flour – 1/4 cup granulated sugar – 1/4 teaspoon salt – 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon – 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract – 8 slices Brioche bread

Instructions: 1. Preheat a griddle to 350 degrees F or heat a skillet over medium heat.

Make the batter: Add all ingredients, except the bread, to a blender or shallow dish and whisk well to combine.  

If whisking by hand, it's okay if the flour doesn't mix completely smoothly.

Cook: Grease the griddle with butter. Dip the bread slices into the egg mixture, dredging them well on both sides, and place them on the hot pan. 

Cook for a few minutes until the bottom of the bread starts to get golden brown. Flip and cook on the other side until golden brown as well.

Serve warm with syrup and a sprinkle of powdered sugar. Enjoy!
